Smoked Salmon Chowder

I made this recipe of Smoked Salmon Chowder about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. I always meant to make it again. Recently, a friend gave us some hand smoked salmon that he caught himself in Alaska. So tender and delicious! Here is the recipe and photos of the process. It tasted great! I used regular milk instead of half and half like the recipe calls for. Also, put a pinch of fresh herbs such as dill on top when you serve.
